• Born March 21st, 1985 in Palestine Tx.
• In his Senior year at Palestine High School rushed for 2960 yards and 32 touchdowns, averaged 11.7 yards per carry.
• Broke the NCAA freshman record with 1925 yards his first year.
• Runner up for the Heisman Trophy his freshman year.
• Finished Oklahoma's 3rd all-time leading rusher - despite only playing 3 seasons.
• Was drafted 7th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2007 NFL draft.
• Ran for 224 yards on 20 carries vs. the Chicago Bears.
• Broke the NFL single game rushing record with 296 yards vs. San Diego on Nov. 4, 2007.
• Was named the NFL offensive rookie of the year, as well as to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season.
